This HVAC model is all metal construction and is designed to be installed in the air-handler section of a furnace or within the “supply” ductwork that sends the purified air back into the rooms. Installation is simple enough for a handy homeowner to do, but when in doubt -- professional installation is always recommended. When properly installed, X22 will provide years of reliable service in sterilizing and oxidizing the air sent from the furnace and back into the home. (Replacement of the UVC bulb is required once every 1-2 years).
